Ezra

Today is our sweet Ezra's birthday. He would have been 5 years old. We love him and are so thankful that he is a part of our family, even if he isn't here with us right now. We will be with him again some day.

No pictures :(

Sadly, I don't have any new pictures to post! But I thought I'd give a shout out to anyone who is reading this.....HI! We're doing great. It's been a warm week, and the kids have loved playing out in the sand box for the last few days. There was some water from the melted snow from last week, and they love getting messy! Isaiah just climbs right in with the big kids.

Duane broke his foot 2 1/2 weeks ago, but he's already walking on it. Thankfully it was a small brake, and mostly a sprained ankle which has healed well. He is having a hard time waiting to play racquetball again. (He broke it playing racquetball. He didn't even have anyone's help. He did it all by himself. But didn't score any points for it.)

As spring gets closer we're getting closer to cutting down all our over grown rose bushes. If only we had electric pruning shears or something. We're also getting excited to have a garden. It's almost time to start some of the seeds!

Maybe I'll have some new pictures soon! Thanks for reading!

Sledding

Here are a few pictures of sledding by my parents' house last month. It was perfect weather - cold enough to have snow, but warm enough that you didn't freeze. We went with my sister and her kids, and my little sisters.

Caleb is 3!

I know this is a little late, but I wanted to share pictures from Caleb's birthday last month.

We started the celebration the night before by going to Pizza Hut for dinner (just like we did for Isaiah's birthday.) On his birthday Caleb woke up to find decorations, balloons, and a pile of presents! He had a great time opening everything, and played with all the toys all day long.

That night we had the some friends over for dinner and they joined us in singing Happy Birthday and eating cake and ice cream. I made Caleb a train cake, which he chose.

We love Caleb so much and love having him in our family. He is a very happy little boy, and smiles so often. He gets excited about lots of little things, that it makes others around him happier. He is a great big brother to Isaiah, and plays with him a lot while Enoch's at school. He loves to sing, pretend, copy Enoch, be read to, look at books by himself, color, count, stay in his jammies all day, swing on "his swing" in the backyard, and dig in the sand (when it's not winter.)

Wow! I can't believe my little boy is 3!

(His requests for his birthday food, which he had been making for months before hand - strawberries and orange juice. In the picture he's licking the cake mixing spoon.)

Isaiah's Had a Birthday!!!

In November, we celebrated Isaiah's first birthday! The year has flown by! We had a great time as a family. We're so glad he's part of our family.

We started the day off by having him open his birthday package from Grandma and Grandpa Page. He immediately loved his new toy!

He also got to open a card from Great-Grandma and Great-Grandpa Huffman.

As part of the celebration we had dinner at Pizza Hut. We don't have much here in town, but we do have a sit-down Pizza Hut restaurant. The kids of course love it. Enoch got his very own pizza as a prize for the Book It program for his reading at school. (I remember doing the same thing in elementary school. They've given away a lot of free pizza over the years!)

I went simple this birthday and made cupcakes. It was the perfect size for a one year old. He is upset in this picture because he's still hungry. We kind of had to speed dinner along so we could get home to do the cake before bedtime.

This is the happy birthday boy after he got real dinner food of mashed fruit and veggies.

Isaiah has grown a lot in the last couple months. He's looking chubbier and feeling heavier every day. He is getting closer to walking but still doesn't like taking steps without holding on to something. He has a great personality and brings smiles and laughter into our home. We're so thankful to have him!

Halloween 2010

I know, I have been slacking with my picture posting. We are still here, enjoying the fine weather, and getting excited for the holidays.

Here are some recent pictures from Halloween. We went to a trunk-or-treat and carnival in town, then we had some friends over for a potluck dinner and some games. We had a lot of fun.

Here is Hernan, a PA at the local medical clinic, handing out "body parts" from the back of an ambulance.

Caleb really wanted to be a pumpkin after seeing Isaiah's costume. Luckily a friend had this costume for us to borrow, and he LOVED it.

Enoch loved his robot costume that I made, unfortunately he couldn't move his arms very well and I had to help him collect his candy.

The kids enjoying their mummy hot dogs and pizzas and black punch.
