After living two years in an apartment, we moved about a month ago to a house that we're renting. We live only about a mile or two from where we were, and we now live very close to Enoch's new elementary school. (He started kindergarten last month and loves school!) We Moved!

Caleb's Independence
Over the past couple months Caleb's been gaining more freedom in feeding himself messy foods. As you can tell from the pictures below he's been enjoying it.

(He's been eating bananas independently for a long time, but for some reason this day he smeared them in his hair, and it made me laugh.)
Thanks to my friend having a birthday a couple weeks ago, my kids got to enjoy blueberry muffins and ice cream cones as an afternoon snack. Caleb especially loved eating his very own ice cream cone all by himself. After he had eaten all the ice cream off the top he tried to scoop it out of the cone with his fingers. He was so very delighted when I showed him that he could actually eat the cone too!

Our Vacation
Here are some pictures from our vacation to Utah and Idaho that we took at the end of July. They are in backwards order.
For a little time away from the kids, we went to a Greek restaurant with my sister, brother-in-law and parents.
While we were in Idaho for a few days, we went to Rigby Lake. My brother-in-law brought these fun paddle boats.

Caleb couldn't wait for the corn to be cooked. He ate the whole thing raw. We bought it fresh from the farm stand down the hill.
This was taken at a river over the mountains from my parents' house. Caleb and Enoch loved getting dirty! Good thing we brought baby wipes with us.

Duane and the boys enjoyed the cool temperatures every morning. Enoch usually was on the tramp-o-line before the other kids were even out of bed.
We went to the Pioneer Day rodeo in Ogden and saw the Clydesdale horses (in the background.)

Enoch got his first canoe ride. We went canoeing at a reservoir up the canyon from Brigham City. Caleb never got in the boat, but Enoch eventually did and had a lot of fun.

Caleb spent a lot of time in this swing at my parents' house. He didn't even mind if he wasn't swinging.
