Isaiah's Had a Birthday!!!

In November, we celebrated Isaiah's first birthday! The year has flown by! We had a great time as a family. We're so glad he's part of our family.

We started the day off by having him open his birthday package from Grandma and Grandpa Page. He immediately loved his new toy!

He also got to open a card from Great-Grandma and Great-Grandpa Huffman.

As part of the celebration we had dinner at Pizza Hut. We don't have much here in town, but we do have a sit-down Pizza Hut restaurant. The kids of course love it. Enoch got his very own pizza as a prize for the Book It program for his reading at school. (I remember doing the same thing in elementary school. They've given away a lot of free pizza over the years!)

I went simple this birthday and made cupcakes. It was the perfect size for a one year old. He is upset in this picture because he's still hungry. We kind of had to speed dinner along so we could get home to do the cake before bedtime.

This is the happy birthday boy after he got real dinner food of mashed fruit and veggies.

Isaiah has grown a lot in the last couple months. He's looking chubbier and feeling heavier every day. He is getting closer to walking but still doesn't like taking steps without holding on to something. He has a great personality and brings smiles and laughter into our home. We're so thankful to have him!

Halloween 2010

I know, I have been slacking with my picture posting. We are still here, enjoying the fine weather, and getting excited for the holidays.

Here are some recent pictures from Halloween. We went to a trunk-or-treat and carnival in town, then we had some friends over for a potluck dinner and some games. We had a lot of fun.

Here is Hernan, a PA at the local medical clinic, handing out "body parts" from the back of an ambulance.

Caleb really wanted to be a pumpkin after seeing Isaiah's costume. Luckily a friend had this costume for us to borrow, and he LOVED it.

Enoch loved his robot costume that I made, unfortunately he couldn't move his arms very well and I had to help him collect his candy.

The kids enjoying their mummy hot dogs and pizzas and black punch.

Some Recent Photos

This is where Caleb is most mornings.
Right after breakfast he goes out to his favorite swing.
(Do you love the mis-matched jammies and the sweet shades?
This is his new pose when he seems me with the camera.)

Well, Caleb actually loves this swing and
is out there pretty often during the day.
(Yes - he goes so high he hits the tree branch!)

Our sweet, fuzzy-haired baby boy.
Just the last few days he's gotten past the army crawling and
is crawling on his hands and knees.

Recently the boys love to play on the swing set together. (I'm so glad!)
I guess Enoch likes it now because he doesn't need anyone to push him.

Enoch started 1st grade on the 19th. He loves school and riding the school bus. Caleb likes waiting outside for the bus with him and waiting in the afternoon for him to get home.

Isaiah is now 9 months old and is a great eater. He loves to feed himself.
We got peaches from our neighbor's tree that he loves to eat all by himself.
(No, he doesn't use the spoon by himself, he was just playing with it.)

My Handsome Boy

I took these pictures of Isaiah in our backyard the other day. He's now 8 months old! He has one little tooth on the bottom, with a second coming soon. He sits up and rolls everywhere, and pushes up on his arms and pushes himself around the floor. He is a great baby and we love him so much!

Happy 4th of July!

For Independence Day we went to the town parade in the morning, then to a little carnival/fair/lunch thing at the park. Then at night we went back to the park to watch the fireworks. It was a great show!

This was the first "double-sided" parade I had seen. At the end of the route, the floats turned and went back along the parade route to the beginning.

The kids loved getting lots of candy at the parade.
At the end they also had a few fire trucks spray water at them.

If you look closely you can see the red rock cliffs in the background.
They shot the fireworks off right up next to the mountain. It was really pretty.

Enoch Gets a Visit from the Tooth Fairy

On June 19th Enoch lost his first tooth! And just yesterday he lost a second.

Enoch turns 6!

About a month ago, Enoch had his birthday! He had three friends over to play and they had Happy Meals for lunch. They spent most of the time playing with the presents they gave him, and then the toys from McDonalds. Then after dinner we went swimming at the city pool. Enoch said it was "the best day ever!"

Family Pictures

Here are some pictures from when I visited at my parents' house at the beginning of June. Our family has grown quite a bit in the past 10 years!

Uncle Ben, Aunt Sharon, and their daughters Amy and Laura visited from Massachusetts. It was so good to see them!
