Isaiah's Had a Birthday!!!

In November, we celebrated Isaiah's first birthday! The year has flown by! We had a great time as a family. We're so glad he's part of our family.

We started the day off by having him open his birthday package from Grandma and Grandpa Page. He immediately loved his new toy!

He also got to open a card from Great-Grandma and Great-Grandpa Huffman.

As part of the celebration we had dinner at Pizza Hut. We don't have much here in town, but we do have a sit-down Pizza Hut restaurant. The kids of course love it. Enoch got his very own pizza as a prize for the Book It program for his reading at school. (I remember doing the same thing in elementary school. They've given away a lot of free pizza over the years!)

I went simple this birthday and made cupcakes. It was the perfect size for a one year old. He is upset in this picture because he's still hungry. We kind of had to speed dinner along so we could get home to do the cake before bedtime.

This is the happy birthday boy after he got real dinner food of mashed fruit and veggies.

Isaiah has grown a lot in the last couple months. He's looking chubbier and feeling heavier every day. He is getting closer to walking but still doesn't like taking steps without holding on to something. He has a great personality and brings smiles and laughter into our home. We're so thankful to have him!

Halloween 2010

I know, I have been slacking with my picture posting. We are still here, enjoying the fine weather, and getting excited for the holidays.

Here are some recent pictures from Halloween. We went to a trunk-or-treat and carnival in town, then we had some friends over for a potluck dinner and some games. We had a lot of fun.

Here is Hernan, a PA at the local medical clinic, handing out "body parts" from the back of an ambulance.

Caleb really wanted to be a pumpkin after seeing Isaiah's costume. Luckily a friend had this costume for us to borrow, and he LOVED it.

Enoch loved his robot costume that I made, unfortunately he couldn't move his arms very well and I had to help him collect his candy.

The kids enjoying their mummy hot dogs and pizzas and black punch.
