Duane took this picture of me on Thursday (the 8th). I'm a little bit bigger than I was in September, huh?
To get in the Halloween spirit we went to a pumpkin patch called Mother Nature's Farm in Gilbert (just south of Mesa). It was a disappointment after paying $13 for the three of us to get in, but we did get this picture of Enoch with an enormous pumpkin. (407 pounds!)
This picture is from July 14, 07. There is a park close by in Chandler called Desert Breeze park, and they have a mini-train ride that goes around the large park. The engine is a small replica of a train that really exists or did exist or something from the Santa Fe line. We have taken Enoch to ride the train a couple of times, and he loves it! When he isn't riding it, we let him run after it and he runs as fast as his little legs will take him. Duane always has to chase after him and bring him back.
This picture from Chase Field was taken August 11th. It was our second Arizona Diamondbacks game. The game was a little earlier, I think it started at 5, so the heat and sunshine walking from the car to the stadiuim made us all very wet from sweat (as you can tell if you look at Enoch's hair and rosy cheeks in the picture). The stadium has AC that brought the temperature down to about 80 degrees. Despite the heat we had a great time anyway - though the team's best pitcher pitched the game, and allowed no runs, while the Diamondbacks only got one run - so there wasn't much action besides strikeouts. Last night Duane and I went to a game and the ending score was 13 to 7. We got free TacoBell coupons because the Diamondbacks scored more than 8 runs.
This is a picture from Enoch's first time at the ocean. We went with Duane's family on Saturday, August 18th. We were there 5 hours, and Enoch still didn't want to leave. He loved the sand! He liked the water, but was a little scared of the waves. He said it was stormy. It was actually just regular waves and tides. He cried when a wave came and washed his sand castle away. He liked to walk in the water, but if a big wave came, and he felt the pull of the tide on his legs, it scared him.
